ATAC hosts first virtual event

ATAC (Australian Travel Agents Co-operative) have adapted the way in which they are engaging with members and preferred partners this year.

In the true spirit of the Co-operative’s community, two interactive, virtual events are taking the place of their Future Focus 2020 Conference, which is now rescheduled to 2021.

The first event, a very successful ‘Virtual Drinks’ was held last week with over 50 members joining in through Zoom for 90 minutes of networking and interactive games hosted by well-known Master of Ceremonies, Michael Pope.

A fantastic time was had by all. It was a great way of reconnecting with everyone and confirming that we’re all in this together.

ATAC member, Justine Sealey – owner of Ramsgate Travel Services said that “A fantastic time was had by all. It was a great way of reconnecting with everyone and confirming that we’re all in this together. It also gave us some time to escape and have a good laugh.”

Another ATAC member, Neil Kirby – owner of Travel Masters commented that, “It was a great example of how ATAC could adapt quickly and with the use of Zoom create an interactive and fully engaged audience, easily and effectively.”

ATAC’s General Manager, Michelle Emerton has advised that their second virtual event will be the ATAC Annual General Meeting.

“The theme for this event being held on 3rd September is ‘Pivot, Adapt, Prosper.’ We are looking forward to a great event which will include involvement of our preferred partners and all member,” added Michelle.
