In true co-operative style, Australian Travel Agents Co-operative (ATAC) has launched the ATAC Community Market, an initiative to support their members (and their families) at this time.
"Whilst ATAC agents run successful travel agencies, many of them have developed side hustles or have partners with a small business," General Manager, Michelle Emerton said.
To participate, all members have to do is email through the details, website link, product info and photos.
ATAC then creates social media posts on behalf of the business and shares this on ATAC360, ATAC Facebook Closed Group and Public pages, on LinkedIn and in the members' 'What's Hot' monthly newsletter.
Since the launch of the ATAC Community Market in early July, businesses selling delicious homemade muesli, designer tutus, award-winning pies, magnificent hand-crocheted blankets, gift hampers and more have been promoted with great success.
"We want to do whatever we can to support the ATAC Community and give these businesses extra exposure and the oppportunity to make themselves visible."
